Writer/Editor

Adbusters Media Foundation is looking for a seasoned writer/editor who is politically savvy and looking to make a difference in our broken world. Joining our NPO means working on projects that follow up on many of our successful initiatives, such as Buy Nothing Day and Occupy Wall Street. We focus on climate, economic and social activism and publish a bi-monthly journal. We plan to launch a book and an interactive app in the coming months.

This position can be full time or part full-time, with 1-2 afternoons/week working from our Vancouver office.

The successful candidate would ideally have a minimum of 5 years of experience:

- Writing articles

- Writing creative non-fiction

- Proofreading and editing long and short-form stories

- Researching and staying up-to-date with the geopolitical events

- Working with the editorial team on creative brainstorms

Salary range: 25-35$ hourly
