Backend Programmer (Vancouver)

Adbusters Media Foundation is looking for an experienced backend programmer with political savvy to round out our Vancouver office. The backend programmer will work closely with our staff, including the editor-in-chief, to create a web-based activist app to promote campaigns addressing the most urgent causes of our day and to engage with activists worldwide. A successful candidate will have 2-3 years' worth of relevant experience. A passion for reckoning with the pressing issues of our time is a huge bonus.

Key qualifications:

• 2-3 years' worth of backend-programming experience
  
• Familiarity with website gamification and app-building technologies
• Experience working with a diverse, passionate team
• Familiarity with Adbusters magazine, as well as our books & campaigns
