Total Chroma
Our jam of the week is Such Filth by Vancouver industrial luminary Total Chroma. Seethingly dissociative, this hypnotically morose track inserts blips of the metaphysical into a synthetic staccato infused wall of malaise, subliminal acid drops into the pre-crash psyche.
The mastermind behind Total Chroma, Robert Katerwol, layers repetitions of the catchy chorus into what Katerwol calls a "mantra that celebrates beauty emerging from darkness and dirt, and filth." Such Filth is released ahead of the bands forthcoming album L A P L A N D, due out in October.
