Comrades, Our latest Jam of the Week comes by way of southern metal act Of The Sun. They've released a few singles since, but we're going with their gonzo-groove-thrash track Shoot the Fucking Television from their latest full length, A.M. Radio.
Patrick Duvall, driving force behind Of The Sun, reached out to us with his music submission and described his sound as “aggressive and aberrant with few exceptions.” This vibe is felt in the uncompromising technicality and metal-thunk breakdowns peppered throughout, soundtrack to a call to dismantle the media-machine that Fox-news junkies and CNN simps can’t get enough of.
