SHAME ON CANADA!

Stephen Harper has betrayed the Canadian people by opting out of the Kyoto Protocol.

Youth activists stood up to global leaders in Durban... now can we do the same here in Canada? As Canada becomes the first country to officially announce its withdrawal from Kyoto, what will we stand up and do about this betrayal? Should we occupy Peter Kent's office? Mic check Stephen Harper wherever he goes? Let off a stink bomb in parliament?

he is the best thing for canada and its politics stop saying what you nothing about... media tells some truth but mixes up with lies and longshots

US just declare...

US just declare war on its own citizens?

Obama is signing the act that will allow the US military to indefinitely disappear US citizens on its own judgement with no due process.

Did the US just undergo a military coup?

Is that a way of stripping away basic rights as a hedge against people getting a set of rights that will make for a more just and equitable society?

It seems this law would ethically compel the US people to strip the state of any secrets and subject it to total transparency as a way to counteract this crime. They will need a constitutional amendment that converts every level of the US government to total transparency.

What do they know that we don't? Are they planning another 911?

Cheney has been lobbying for this bill. Why isn't he in the Hague standing trial at the ICT?

If they disappear anyone the first people should be the authors of this bill and Cheney, they can be test cases.

The US people are going to have to ask themselves if they still support the US state or need to remake it.

This law makes the US in the Gaza strip.

The US people are going to have to find a way to nationalize US oil and to purge the US supreme court by the same processes used to achieve amendment.

No, we never tried. The Liberals signed the Accord but did nothing to lower our emissions. Then the Conservatives took over, kept on doing nothing to lower our missions, and signed us out of the Accord.

In countries of abundance, made of migrants whose once left their birthcountries for the believe of a better and an abundant life for their children, sounds simply difficlt to strain for a little bit of energy saving.
Try to say to a northen american or ozzie to change their cars for european ones, they will reply asking you how would cars move on if equipped with an engine sizing less than 2 liters! Well they move, far faster and more efficently and environmentally conscious! This is just an example.
I believe the shame is not to the Country, but to their common belief.
