I love how the blatantly American posters have the duty to "support the troops" in their own twisted way. Do you feel a sort of kinship with the American murderers and rapists that sit in any of your many many prisons because they live on the same land mass as you?

One thing I noticed when the war started the very first thing they (mainstream media) did is have all the newscasters, pundits, politicians and big-haired bible-quoting obese women run around on camera all crowing "you have to support the troops", "we don't want this be like another Vietnam". Well guess what? You have another Vietnam on you hands, but this one has now outlasted Vietnam and is more vile in many ways.

Taliban and American soldiers are not so different, really. Both fighting for things they believe in and putting their lives on the line. Both have people that love them. Some people will find the comparison offensive, but in the end it's true - we're all just human, and we're all killing each other. The world is a heartbreaking place.
