All my true conservatives, say HEAR HEAR!
These people are removing massive hoardes of wealth from our economy. Money isn't infinite! You cannot have economic black holes like billionaires in your economy, absorbing money from the economy. Talk about supply and demand? Money has a supply and demand! Where is market equilibrium? Can we make the changes neccessary to find equilibrium?

This is one of the best political speeches I've ever heard.

Apparently I'm a huge fan of senior Irish poets turned politicians who get angry for the right reasons.

It's kind of funny you are using the advice of a leader of a country that can't succeed without financial assistance from the EU and you are using that. Yes lets listen to a guy who's country a couple of months ago almost collapsed if it wasn't for a cash infusion from the EU. Ya the billoinaires are black holes, i would imagine that they employ alot more people then you and me and definitly pay more taxes. And don't bring up Warren Buffet he has been proven to be a liar on this topic (Berkshire Hathaway). But keep it up guys maybe in just a few months we can be as great as the socialists in venezuala wait they are not doing that well, maybe the communists of Cuba wait they are doing to well, or maybe the North Koreans no wait they eat their own babies cause they don't have food. But don't look at their societies for reasons why are system is betters, do one better and go live their and then report about their economy. Just keep raping women at your rallies and covering them up good job you are a model for our society.

This guy, Michael D. Higgins, was elected the new leader of Ireland 5 days ago. I feel silly for having to explain to you that Ireland's financial crisis was probably not really his fault, but, well, it's simply not possible.

Actually, Higgins was elected in response to a government that had allowed financial sector capitalists to run wild with the economy in what has become a very familiar scene (see America, Iceland).
