The Indignants Are Marching

Could #OCCUPYWALLSTREET go global?

Support this video

A spontaneous nonviolent movement is emerging from the squares of Spain. Throwing aside political cynicism, everyday people are finding inspiration and revolutionary hope outside stifling party politics. They call themselves the Indignants and their long march has begun.

On September 17th, as 20,000 Americans set up camp in Wall Street, the Indignants of Madrid and Paris are vowing to do the same in their financial districts. Could #OCCUPYWALLSTREET be the global revolutionary moment we've been hoping for?

Who said anything about Violence ? This is the kind of thinking that starts rumors and incites stupidity.
We have the right to protest.

Dissent is the HIGHEST form of PATRIOTISM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let the revolution begin !!
We thought it was here when the Clash came out with their answer to what was happening in England in 77 . Working for the Clampdown , under a jackboot . Their lyrics are what still burns in me, after all the apathy and consumption , it still burns .

These are anthems and ideals that we cannot give away , nor let them be stolen , like our houses , our identities , our independence , our future ,
our freedom . I will not go quietly .
How will you go ????

Out of my cold dead hands , out of my cold dead hands will you wrest my freedom.

It HAS to go global!! That Wall Street Gomorrah affects not only american citizens, their decisions and mistakes affect the whole world: US Congress passes the Commodity Futures Modernization Act in 2000 and ten years later in Spain we have over 45% youth unemployment and the whole world is considerably poorer. That CDS-monsters they've created are going to blow up the world in pieces and I'm not going to sit and just watch: first it affected "only" american mortgages (although the crisis that they provoked didn't) but now they've taken it on public debt and I truly believe that the crisis that's coming will be nothing compared to what we've seen until now: there are (presumably) USD 61 trillions in CDS while the world gross product in 2009 was of USD 58.26 trillions. There isn't enough money in the world for paying them all back!!

There should be protests in NY, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Tokio... at a time. And I personally would strengthen the protest a bit: I'd stop Wall Street, DAX, etc. for one day or at least some hours, block the accesses that no broker can go inside and "work". They, the megarich, have to know that we the people (of the world) have the power, that they have done what they did because we the people have let them, but the cow's milk is ending and also our patience and we will not allow any abuses from now on. Either they change voluntarily or we are going to MAKE them change.

PS: I'll talk in the next assembly in my district Barcelona and propose an action in front of our own (a very little one) stock exchange market
