Who the F**k Do You Think You Are

It's time for a look in the mirror.
Who the F**k Do You Think You Are
Chicago, Il 2003. Brian Ulrich. notifbutwhen.com

You blame China. You blame India. You blame America. You blame the CEOs, the oil companies, the vague and incoherent 'system,' the international regulatory regimes, the hypocrisy of the left, the righteous of the right, the educators, the economy, your parents, your childhood, your job, your bank account, your mental health, your government, everyone and everything but yourself. Wake up! This is no joke. Ecocide is actually happening and your five planet-lifestyle is the primary cause of it.

I agree with the article, all consumers need to wise up and not just see themselves as contributing to the eco and resource depletion issues but also as being able to change the world, politically too!
i.e Corporations, obligarchs, tax evading individuals and the economic mafia all would love the billions of consumers to remain ignorant and confused about their activities so business as usual can contiunue.
These minority powerful interests influence politicians and whole governments with their wealth, that consumers have mostly given to them by blind consuming.
Open eyed consumption by billions of people will change the wrongs of the world very quickly because the wealth would be locally spent and so less would be untaxed and offshored so keeping wealth local to where consumers spent it.
It would also regenerate local production and so help employment levels and local skills would become better...a win win for all but the greedy conspiritorially minded few who currently are taking us all for a ride .. one way ...to hell!

Agree with your comment entirely. If we could all create locally our own version of the things owned by the outside evil world (say Beverage manufacturing).

That local business would create the product, jobs, and the revenue that would stay "local".

Forcing the power rich minority to come crashing down.
