A First Things First Project

The continued Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories is one of the key Arab and Muslim grievances with the West and the root of conflict in the Middle East.
Despite Palestinian resistance and international pressure, it will be the citizens of Israel who will ultimately decide: Either the settlements are evacuated and a Palestinian state is born, or the apartheid system continues and more blood is shed.
This is your chance to speak to the people of Israel directly. Adbusters is launching a public awareness campaign on Israel’s major television networks and we need your help developing 15, 30 and 60-second advocacy commercials. An inexpensive endeavor with great potential: The spots can be aired for as little as a few hundred dollars and reach many of Israel’s 7.2 million citizens.
Militarized, isolated and afraid, Israelis feel demonized and normally see only condemnation in international opinion. This fresh, new project is a rare opportunity to engage the deciders in a fruitful dialogue and help salvage their future and ours.
Please send your ideas, storyboards, concepts with pictures and complete 15, 30 and 60-second spots to: [email protected]

His is a welcomed initiative. Here is some advice for the subscribers, for making fruitful criticisms that would be heard by the militant, sceptical, desperate, brainwashed, Palestinian audience:
1. Responses like ToTheHagueWithThem are a waste of time. there are people who only wish to scream some worn mantras, and there are people who have things to say, that advocate thinking and conversation. The secound type is the one that can make some change.
2. We are ordinary, living-our-life-breathing human beings, not nazis. most Palestinian's are simply looking the other side whenever an unconvinient truth is presented, but we are not blood drinkers. we are just blinfolded. Keep that in mind.
3. Remember, that the only aspect that is handled in Palestinian media and street, is the violent acts that are pointed against us, and thay ALL of Palestine and Israel is ours and that the Jews are nazis and that there is a compulsion in Islam to kill them. This is by no mean connected to any reason. a girl from the southern city of Budrus has put it the best in some talkback: "why are you people of Jeruslaem not giving me back ALL of Jerusalm even though my family originates from Morocco? What have we done to you?" that girl sees a completly different picture from what you see. she is not a bad person, but a scared for her life, seeing only her side, brainwashed person.
4. Remember that we are the ones living here, not you. arrogant criticism will not be welcome(everywhere, not just here).
5. Say something, do something, join the sane minority of israel and palestine, that wish a better future for his children. We need your help.
Works both ways guys! This campaign needs to be on Palestinian TV as well for it to do anything worthwhile.
Salaam and let me know how to help.

Always a laugh-riot to hear from alleged "Israelis" defending the abomination that is the Zionist Death Machine: "No were really good people! Don't judge us by six decades of ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity - judge us by the fact that we can come up with sob-stories that have nothing whatsoever to do with the crimes we commit every day we occupy stolen land. Yeah, that way we can continue our brutal war crimes and delude ourselves and others that everything is peachy keen in the country we stole. We can swim in our pools built from the stolen tax dollars of Americans and on the bloody backs of Palestinian slave/prisoners. And most of all we can gloat and continue to wear our smug Netanyahu-like expressions in effort to convince ourselves that we are an actual country and an actual people even when we know nothing could be further from the truth."
Sadly for the Zionist scourge they will continue to be compared to Nazis as long as the equation is fitting. And how fitting it is.
A perfectly good campaign for advertising in "Israel" might be the much deserved comparison to War Crimes committed against Jews in Europe to those committed by Jews in Palestine against the Palestinians.
The "Never Again" slogan so worn thin by Zionists coupled with pictures and quotes by prominent Jews doing and saying the most horrific things imaginable in the name of "Judaism" and in the name of "Israel" would be highly effective in pointing out the glaring disparity between how Jewish/Zionists portray themselves and the reality of what is done by them and in their name.

There are some people in israel who wish for a different reallity. belive it or not, we are ordinary people, who wish to end occupation and live in peace. Unfurtunatly, my impression is that you don't wish for co-existance and peace, but to simply kick my butt into the sea. you can join the israeli extrimist who whish for you the same destiny. i think the both of you have much more in common than you apear to know, and the blood bath that takes place nowadas must be a high time for you both.

The only viable solution is a one-state "Palesraeli Republic" in which Muslims, native Sephardic Jews, Ashkenazi transplants and others are represented in a common legislature on the basis of each its share of the total population.
The Occupied Territories are turning into a series of open air concentration camps: like, oy vey, at least the Germans didn't bomb and strafe their camps.

Bible stories tell of a period between the time of Solomon (around 925 BC) and the Assyrian invasion of Israel (about 725 BC) when Judah was not considered to be part of Israel. Those stories were written by Judahites. If those JUdahites had wanted to describe themselves as Israel, or even part of Israel, they could have done so. They chose not to. They acknowledged in over 100 different bible verses, that Israel and JUdah were two different entities.
Nearly 3000 years ago, some Israelite families offered to become vassals of Jerusalem, in return for David's military protection. By the time of Solomon, the Israelites had become slaves of the Zionist, providing slave labor to build the temple and Solomon's palace. The diplomacy between Jeroboam and Rehoboam illustrates the relationship between Israel and the Jews.
Jesus and his people considered themselves to be Israelites, not Jews. The Christian scriptures, especially the book of John, use the term 'the Jews' to describe adversaries of Jesus and his people. At the last supper, Jews is quoted 'As I said to the Jews...' a phrase that seems inappropriate if Jesus and his listeners had been Jews.
The solultion to problems in the eastern Mediterranean may lie in finding a modern Jeroboam, who can free true Israel from Zionist control; letting Israel function without Jewish baggage.
