Battle for the Soul of Occupy
“Boots. Check. Gas mask. Yup. Black pants. Got it. Water bottle and Bandana. Tent. okay. People’s Library. Sounds good. Solidarity.”
“Will that be all?”
“Oh yes, and one revolution please.”
“And how will you be paying for that? Cash or credit?”
“Credit.”
As occupiers across the world prepare for a May uprising, The Nation magazine has some advice for what the movement should do next. “Show your support today for Occupy Wall Street’s Move Your Money Relay by applying for The Nation Magazine Platinum Visa® Rewards Card!” writes Associate Publisher Peggy Randall. We hear some 99% Spring occupiers are even rushing out now to get their Nation credit card in time for the May Day General Strike.
With this kind of boost, we’re sure to succeed.

The Nation magazine is a joke, trying to use Occupy to sell a Visa credit card. Yuck.

The credit card is heinous. Oh baby boomers, never change.

So, unless the plan is to run up the bill to astronomical proportions and then defaulting on them en-masse to put a serious thorn in VISA's side, i don't see how this really helps or holds to the ethos of the occupy movement.

You're right... Adbusters is mocking The Nation.
The sad thing is that The Nation actually asked people to support Occupy by getting a credit card.

You people don't relize it.
the only way they will ever listen is if we take up arms.
Just a mass of people greater than their military will scare them into listening.
And even if you don't agree with this method its a good idea.
even if you don't want to fight, so be it tell others.
Someone in any walk of life would. Hell if i have to ill lead a Revolution myself.
