Suppressing Nonviolent Dissent
Veterans assaulted with truncheons, women dragged through the streets by their hair, grandmothers pepper sprayed in the face, peaceful protestors bludgeoned while sitting. Sound like something authorities in Egypt, Tunisia or Syria would order and condone? Think again. It's happening here in the US.

Yes, equality of opportunity means that OWS has the same shot at changing hearts and minds as any other group or party in the US. But, if they keep up their current tactics, they'll just be lumped in with the rest of the lunatic fringe that no one takes seriously.
In this country, if you work hard and *play by the rules*, then you can achieve success. OWS refuses to play by the rules. Therefore, it will fail.
The US is not some poor, third-world country. The Tea Party was successful, because they swayed people and motivated them to vote to change the system. Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, and Libya are backward countries with heavily oppressed underclasses that were ripe for revolution. The US is not.
OWS has to follow the Tea Party's lead. Change people's minds and get them to vote. That's the only way real change will be effected in this country.

I support your protests because of the level of poverty I see in the US amongst certain groups needs changing. But I can't support the US or its people for the level of militarism you promote in the world. The profits you want a share of, your politics and influence, are all tied up in making war. Now you want to bring your filth into the South Pacific again. Bugger off .

I wish all the luck to those involved in bringing the western war criminals to justice - but doubt very much the end result will be much different than the Zionist occupied International Ccriminal Court (ICC). According to Malaysian former prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim, Israeli Mossad has already infiltrated into Malaysia’s Bukit Aman (Federal Police headquarter in Kuala Lumpur).
