Preaching High Morality to the Powerless
As the Arab Spring intensifies, now spreading to Spain and Greece, the home of radically democratic political thought is starting to shift outside the West. A new culture of fearlessness is settling in abroad, especially among non-European and non-American intellectuals, as evidenced by the latest piece by Indian novelist Pankaj Mishra. He writes:
"The moment of truth is fast approaching for those powerful men who preach the high morality of non-violence to the powerless. Only an American veto seems likely to prevent the member states of the UN from declaring a new Palestinian state in September. But Palestinians may rise up against their colonial overlords well before this expected rejection. And, as the political philosopher Michael Walzer points out, Israel would then confront "something radically new. How can it resist masses of men and women, children too, just walking across the ceasefire lines?"
"The tactics of young tech-savvy Kashmiris have already confused and bewildered the Indian government, whose recent actions – censoring the Economist, forcing spying rights out of BlackBerry and Google – evoke the last-minute desperation of the Arab world's mukhabarat (secret police) states. The mass movement in Kashmir, which has emerged after two decades of a futile militant insurgency and has no compromising links to Pakistan, poses, as the Kashmiri journalist Parvaiz Bukhari writes in Until My Freedom Has Come, an unprecedented "moral challenge to New Delhi's military domination over the region".
"The stage is set, then, for a summer of protests, of unarmed masses rising up to express, in Obama's words, "a longing for freedom that has built up for years". They may well meet with live bullets rather than offers of negotiation and compromise. It will be fascinating to see if Obama makes good his claim last month that the United States "opposes violence and repression" and "welcomes change that advances self-determination". Certainly, as the corpses of the Palestinian and Kashmiri Hamza al-Khatibs pile up, there will be the usual flurry of intellectual rationalisations – the bogey of Islamic terror will again be invoked. And we will witness how the "enormous mountains of tyranny" in the world's greatest democracies do not blow away like cotton."

So you're admitting that "Israel" is a product of European Colonialism? Nice. This is standard Zionist apology and usually comes shortly after or slightly before the hackneyed apology referencing American Indians. Usually goes something like this: if America could ethnically cleanse it's indigenous population why can't European Jews do the same when they invaded Palestine?
Pretty reductionist to be sure and not the best comparison you'd want to make in a debate about the legitimacy of your failed state. Essentially you're admitting that "Israel" is guilty of ethnic cleansing and genocide. Which is refreshing to hear from a Zionist apologist but does little for the foundation for your argument.
Yes other people in this world are guilty of ethnic cleansing too like, ooooh say, the Nazis? Yeah so that's how you get to be loathed by the entire world of civilized humans: whine and yammer for 60 years about heinous deeds done to you and bilk Europe and America for trillions of their peoples money to assuage your "past suffering" all while perpetrating these same deeds on a truly defenseless population whose land you stole and then lie outright to the entire world by monopolizing the dissemination of information in your daddy's "news"papers. Furthermore comparing America of 1492 to Palestine of 1942 is exceptionally inappropriate when making parallels between your shared colonialism. By the end of WWII your brand of blatant colonialism had been abandoned in large part because of the war in which one people tried to occupy another. Maybe you forgot what that was all about?
If you want to live in a world where might is right then quit complaining when people fight back and bomb your children on their way to the schools you built atop the mass-graves of the population you murdered. Otherwise you're gonna have to return what what you've stolen. Simple.

I don't think anyone was "admitting" anything. Hence the use of the word "assuming". It was a hypothetical made for the sake of argument. I've pointed out many times that the majority of the Jews of Israel are not European Jews. They are the descendants of Jews who were cleansed from the Arab and Muslim world.
Currently 20% of Israeli citizens are arab. What percentage of Libya is Jewish? The Gaza Strip? Morocco? Iraq? All of these place have had historical Jewish populations that never existed.
The right to Jewish sovereignty has nothing to do with past suffering. It is an inherent right. Similar to the right to Irish, German, or even Palestinian sovereignty.
Also the ethnic cleansing of the Americas did not happen in 1492. That was the year the "new world" was "discovered" by Europeans, but the ethnic cleansing of the Aboriginal people of North America continues today. I will admit that the comparison between Aboringal North Americans and Israelis/Palestinians is poor though. Israel emerged in the midst of the breakdown of the Ottoman Empire, which contained Jews and Arabs. The Jews fled their lands (giving up about 4x more land in the Ottoman empire than the entire land mass of Israel).
Also please show me evidence of mass graves in Israel?
I'll say it again. The majority of Israelis are Mizrahim, not European Jews. That is a fact. Many aren't "white".
You seem to base your entire argument on made up facts. And conveniently enough for you, any facts that dispute your totally fabricated point of view are the result of the "Jewish Media". Quite convenient for you.

Oh please! Explain this right to "Jewish sovreignty" in Palestine to us. Jews have about as much right to "Jewish sovreignty" in Palestine as I have a right, as a Lutheran, to "Lutheran sovreignty" in Germany, considering that that is where Martin Luthern operated. And that was only about 450 years ago.
To be Jewish is to adhere to certain religious beliefs. Anyone can convert to the Jewish religion. It is not a "race". To believe that it is, is akin to Rosenberg and those other Nazi "pure race" theorists. There has been enough research done to disporove the self-claimed uniqueness of Jewishness. Read Shlomo Sand's "The Invention of the Jewish People" for starters. Plus, modern Hebrew is a recent invention, do some research. Israel is an invented copuntry populated by a people with an invented history speaking an invented language. You "pure race" theorists are about 70 years too late. The Nazis said it all.

There is the Jewish religion but there are also Jewish ethnicities.

The denial of the Jewish ethnicities is the only new concept.

Judaism is a nation, race and religion. DNA testing shows that Jews from completely different areas of the world are more similar in DNA than they are to non Jews in their own country. What about the Archaeological sites in Israel that unearth at frequent intervals proof of a Jewish presence in the land through the ages? G-D gave the land of Israel to Israel. No one can ever change that fact.
