#OCCUPYXMAS kicks off Nov 25/26
Hey dreamers, occupiers, rabble-rousers,
You’ve been sleeping on the streets for two months pleading peacefully for a new spirit in economics. And just as your camps are raided, your eyes pepper sprayed and your head’s knocked in, another group of people are preparing to camp-out. Only these people aren’t here to support occupy Wall Street, they’re here to secure their spot in line for a Black Friday bargain at Super Target and Macy’s.
Occupy gave the world a new way of thinking about the fat cats and financial pirates on Wall Street. Now lets give them a new way of thinking about the holidays, about our own consumption habits. Lets’ use the coming 20th annual Buy Nothing Day to launch an all-out offensive to unseat the corporate kings on the holiday throne.
This year’s Black Friday will be the first campaign of the holiday season where we set the tone for a new type of holiday culminating with #OCCUPYXMAS. As the global protests of the 99% against corporate greed and casino capitalism continues, lets take the opportunity to hit the empire where it really hurts…the wallet.
On Nov 25/26th we escape the mayhem and unease of the biggest shopping day in North America and put the breaks on rabid consumerism for 24 hours. Flash mobs, consumer fasts, mall sit-ins, community events, credit card-ups, whirly-marts and jams, jams, jams! We don’t camp on the sidewalk for a reduced price tag on a flat screen TV or psycho-killer video game. Instead, we occupy the very paradigm that is fueling our eco, social and political decline.
Historically, Buy Nothing Day has been about fasting from hyper consumerism – a break from the cash register and reflecting on how dependent we really are on conspicuous consumption. On this 20th anniversary of Buy Nothing Day, we take it to the next level, marrying it with the message of #occupy…
We #OCCUPYXMAS.

Here is my opinion on plundering wall street:
Gimme each one buck, I will invest it in such a way as to "outsmart the market" and then take over as many companies as I can and then "fire those managers" that are incompetent and simply do not produce products for those who are on the bottom of the foodchain, so to speak, while at the same time supplying those in the world with next to nothing sufficient purchasing power, through employment in these companies so that they can honestly contribute to the world instead of being "mere spectators" to the economic and political life of the world, while indeed there are some for whom "protest is everything" meaning they would not be happy working in any kind of job, I am speaking of those who have been left out only because they like to "tell the truth" like it really is and "CORPORATE AMERICA", does not like the truth, it is "anathema" to them since they are "apostles of falsehoods and lies" also known as "advertisements"!
I am one of these persons and the only reason I have been left out is because the "average intelligence" of the US worker has been "deterioting rapidly" which is why we have been importing intelligence from overseas, because our "Educational system" is run by evil kings that do not encourage "critical thinking capacity" like the JEW MR GEORGE SOROS does in his "OPEN SOCIETY INSTITUTE" but instead they encourage "mediocrity" and "thinking like the mainstream" but if you think like the mainstream, everyone will eventually be "flushed into the ocean of capitalism" to be drowned by "consumer debt", mortgage debt and public debt, which means taxes will have to be raised to "pay for the rape, murder and treason" that the kings have done after they "took the money from the banking system"!
I hereby offer to "plunder wall street for you", will you give me the "CHANCE" of a lifetime to set the record straight, the kings will not let me work, for I know their evil secrets, what is keeping you from giving me a job, am I even too "honest for you" as well, or is it simply that you cannot spare a buck to at least attempt to use an investor since 1993 to channel money into the direction it needs to go for the economy to rebound and to prosper, let us face it, if all the evil kings get all the money then they will simply bancrupt the poor and that "results in recessions and depressions" therefore there must be a "major redistribution of wealth" and a "gambler that was banished from all US casinos told me how", therefore
Either give me a chance to pay these evil thugs back,
OR
let them "CUT YOUR THROAT" from ear to ear like they threatened to do with the sixth president of the United States as recorded in his book:" LETTERS TO HIGH PRIEST OF FREEMASONRY MR LIVINGSTON"!

Great idea! Been thinking along those lines for a couple of decades myself. The system of exchange and reward needs a complete overhaul. Money has had its day and no longer works for the majority.
It perverts our values, and allows untalented scum to rise to the top. Most of them produce absolutely zilch of any real value. They are not creative, in the main, and too often steal the ideas of others.
For far too long untalented bankers have bleated on about how necessary they are, and how things we couldn't manage without them. They've had more than three years to sort things out and have only succeeded in making things worse while hoovering up billions of taxpayer's money in the process. They have no committent to the idea of nationhood, or the general well-being of citizens. Their practices would be called treasonable in a more equitable system. Max Keiser rightly labels them financial terrorists. Yet, even that doesn't do justice to the trail of death and destruction they are leaving behind them.
We are trying to start some sort of alternative exchange system in our pueblo here in Spain. With massive unemployent, it's the only way some people are going to be able to survive. So far, people are reluctant to take the plunge but we plan to move on anyhow, starting with a flea market exchange, which will use money and barter, as something has to be in place when the whole thing blows up big time. We hope people will get accustomed to it with time, and begin to realise its merits as their money and savings shrink to nothing.
Be interested to hear other people's ideas about barter systems, and exchange credits for employment.

Sure let's outlaw money, but we better move to a shame based society rather than a guilt based. so men can covet honor rather than wealth. but we better outlaw all professions other than warrior for men. only names to be inscribed on a tombstone are to be a woman who dies in childbirth or a man who dies in battle. i could get behind living in an ancient spartan society.
