#OCCUPYXMAS begins
This years’ Black Friday was a resounding success. Fifty-five billion dollars chimed through cash registers across the USA. Two hundred and fifty-thousand people went into the malls and spent on average 400 hundred dollars each, the biggest shopping day ever. Some notable purchases included ten limited edition Ferraris with matching luggage from Neiman Marcus’s exclusive holiday catalogue, $395,000 each, gobbled up in under an hour.
We in the 99%, alongside our sympathetic friends in the 1%, need to challenge this “normal” way of doing Xmas and come up with a new normal. The holidays need another paradigm.
So what are we occupiers going to do different this season? For starters, we’re going to take the personal plunge and move our money. We’re going to take it away from the big banks and put it into our local credit unions. And that will be the one great first step in breaking beyond the encampments and into the new Xmas imagination.

I do appreciate the musings of your 25th of december christmas child parent stresses, nevertheless let me point out to you that "celebrating the birth of the king of heaven" on the 25th is both untimely as well as not appreciated necessarily by the person being celebrated nevertheless it is all like false tradition of our fathers like the idea that sugar causes tooth decay unfortunately very well observed and a time "honored tradition", indeed I do like your suggestions, but ultimately charity is a "feeling as well as a gift from God" and does not come without his help and assistance!
We feel charity towards our fellow creatures not because we are good, but because he was good!

Who would be doing such a horrible thing you ask, well I can tell you one "charitable organization" that clearly has promoted "CHRISTMAS SHOPPING" perhaps not so much as a "organization" per se, but because so many rich and powerful people have belonged to it, they have "shamelessly exploited Christmas" for their own profit, whether it is the purchase of Ford Motor Cars, which were created and promoted by the "MASS MURDERER OF THE JEWS" yes, you do read correctly MR HENRY FORD was secretly in charge of the "HOLOCAUST" as it is now called, and President Obama to this day is a "HOLOCAUST DENIER" for he knows very well that everything in the book by Joshua Bethel, is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but he still to this day maintains the position that this book shall not published until the Raiders win the Superbowl!

We did not start the fire, the popular song states, it has been going on since the world started turning,

You need to check your facts, there were many more Jews killed by the Nazi party then any other group. And in response to your palestine comment, the last time I checked the israel's aren't firing rockets at school buses only the terrorists i mean palestinians do that. And read your history book the Jews were living in the area now known as palestine and israel for thousands of years before the Palestinians even arrived. im sorry, but you are greatly mistaken...there were more jews who were murdered...but you must also include the gypsies, jehovah witnesses, homosexuals, mental and physically disabled, blacks, traitors to the the reich and many more that were also murdered. BUT jews were the main target durning the holocaust. common fact.
