A Movement is Born
Jammers, dreamers, rabble-rousers, revolutionaries,
#OCCUPYWALLSTREET is thundering across America, threatening to morph into a full fledged national movement. Channeling the nonviolence of the Egyptian Tahrir Square uprising and the bottom-up collective decision making of the Spanish acampadas, we vow to end the monied corruption of our democracy.
This Saturday #OCCUPYWALLSTREET enters its third week … be there at Noon and stay for the weekend … or be at one of the 50+ fledgling occupations now being organized across the land.
Our people's democracy movement is about to get three mighty boosts:
- On October 6, a few thousand of us will swarm the capital and #OCCUPYDC. Find out the plan at october2011.org
- On October 15th, the movement goes global … check it out at 15october.net
- Then, on November 3 and 4, we have something special in mind for when the G20 leaders meet in France.

1200 arrests? Not violent? No laws broken? Sorry to disappoint you, I want nothing to do with your "movement". As to threats, WHAT threats. Gun ownership is 45 times higher among conservatives compared to liberals. When the first rioter, and there will be riots, tries to bust the window or door of a gun owning businessman, that rioter will be dead. The shit will hit the fan in the media, and the one found at fault WILL be the rioter, That is called the Castle Law. I wrote my thesis on mob psychology, and it is only a matter of time before your leaderless group has a faction that wants to go Bill Ayers on the evil corporations. I hope all conservatives and constitutionalists just stay away from your groups. When the violence happens, I want you and your ilk to bare the full blame for what happens.

I know exactly what you are referring to, of course I know people use movements for their own ends, that will alwys happen. Wow, you really do think people are so less..."intelligent" than you, if I may use that word.
I am very aware of everyone who may try to exploit this group, thats why it is leaderless. But that includes exploiters like you, who dont want to see anyone taking part in the democratic system, you want them to sit down and shut up. Like you said, get out of the way" (of working families). But a few days protest , we are not in anyones way, stop making ridiculous statements about a movement that does not stop anyone from getting what they want out of life. Why do you feel so threatened? You and everyone else can go and "Pursue your happiness" (and money). Us protesters arent stopping you, right, we are just doing what WE want to do as well. AND WE DEFINITELY WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, WHICH YOU SUGGESTED, SO YOU AND YOUR GUNS CAN STAY FAR FAR AWAY. Yes, we indeed have nothing to do with you, why would we?
