A Movement is Born
Jammers, dreamers, rabble-rousers, revolutionaries,
#OCCUPYWALLSTREET is thundering across America, threatening to morph into a full fledged national movement. Channeling the nonviolence of the Egyptian Tahrir Square uprising and the bottom-up collective decision making of the Spanish acampadas, we vow to end the monied corruption of our democracy.
This Saturday #OCCUPYWALLSTREET enters its third week … be there at Noon and stay for the weekend … or be at one of the 50+ fledgling occupations now being organized across the land.
Our people's democracy movement is about to get three mighty boosts:
- On October 6, a few thousand of us will swarm the capital and #OCCUPYDC. Find out the plan at october2011.org
- On October 15th, the movement goes global … check it out at 15october.net
- Then, on November 3 and 4, we have something special in mind for when the G20 leaders meet in France.

How come almost every media article says the event is disorganized and unfocused?
MAYBE IT IS!
Organize it!
Make everybody use the same sign.
Make everybody point their sign in the same direction.
Make every sign use four inch letters.
Make one flyer with a single sentence message on it.
Tell everybody to use the same message.
Announce an official color.
.... otherwise it is just another crowd... If you use STANDARDIZED VISIBILITY TECHNIQUES you get 200% more done. If you don't, you LOSE 200% of the impact...
Right now you are losing the impact. Who has the balls to take the bull by the horns and be an event organizer!?

Now THIS is funny. I have been watching this revolution coming for quite a while now and am not surprised at all.
I DO think occupywallstreet has a goal and a message...and hey, they are organized enough to create this protest (and for people who don't know what it's about -- I am sure they are living comfortably). See you on Saturday!

Greetings from Spain, you are going the right way.
You could learn a lot from the 15-M movement here in Spain, I am really glad America is opening its eyes and using experience from Tunisia, Egypt or my country. But beware, Egypt and Tunisia finally pushed away their dictators, here in Spain we showed the way to people´s assemblies, but still have the same idiots in power and a long way to go.
Just keep on fighting, together, it´s just an ocean between, the enemies are the same ones, there is something very global about about injustice.
