Instead of begging their governments for non-existent mercy, activists in major centres across Europe are taking their public services into their own hands. They are engaging in creative resistance, one that initiates instead of making demands. Transit, healthcare, utilities, you name it, nothing is out of reach. Grrr ... U ppl still don't get it :(
U are born with inherent rights by the Gods whom created U. They can't be taken away, manipulated nor abused .. unless U are fooled into giving them away in some way. Hence those fraudsters created Cities, government, corporations, business, borders, separate kind of law, birth certificates, identification .. etc etc
Who elects ppl to government? ... YOU DO .. now they are YOUR servants for your protection, MAKE them act like it .. Claim your Rights back.
How? In any place on this planet there are ancient books stating your rights. I don't care if it's the Bible, Torah, Koran, I Ching or whatever. They all say the same. That is your remedy .. your fix, the Supreme Law. A constitution only mentions part of your rights but it's there to make sure you are protected from Government and their agents / employees / police.
Lawyers and attorneys are agents of the Government or private societies that are not in your best interests. U, and only U, can learn and take the system to court for a breach of YOUR Rights.
U can take anyone in government to civil court, as many have in the past.
That's big money when U win, really big money. Going rate is:
1 oz of gold per hour
100 oz of gold per instance / incident / infraction
1000 oz of gold per injury, ANY injury .. even a scratch or threatening voice
1 Million oz of gold in case of death .. intentional or not
U can even say these terms are negotiable.
Once U get your Rightful payment you can do anything you want ... permaculture, land reclamation, free energy, community collectives, your own kind of money, best of health care, grow medical cannabis and cannabis / hemp for products ... whatever your imagination may see fit.

For those in other countries there are laws that are similar .. but you are up against same British/Roman system of commerce and trust law. Use your "inherent rights" to fight them.

I'm honestly confused how destroying funding for public services is equivalent to "taking hold" of them. These people are not fixing trains, they are not driving them, they are not managing them. In time, if they succeed, there will be no more public transportation. How does that count as a victory for anybody? Who accepts responsibility then? Certainly not the Greek government, which is itself at the whims of Europe at large.
This isn't a "culture" jam; it's an economic jam, but it's masquerading as political resistance. Resistance to what? Subway users? The ends and means bear to relation to one another. Please to explain.

Everything on this planet is paid for by the workers via taxes, fees, tickets, their labor, etc. ... BUT the super rich / ruling class use worker funds for whatever they want .. while not using their own money NOR paying a single dime of their own.
The economy is nothing but a giant scam to fill the pockets of super rich / ruling class.
So called gods did it with slave labor and offerings to them, kings/queens/priests did it afterward, and it still persists today under different names. Hence selected and protected few live off the labor of everyone else .. while they create wars, poison, manipulate and use other various means as control in all ways, including population control.
This is what all man [men and women] is up against.
Public services are only a tiny fraction of what the super rich collect daily in the Trillions. Just in gold they have horded enough to build every man made structure and contents therein on this thing called Canada... including roads and railways. Same in silver, platinum and others.
So you tell me/us what's wrong with making public services free, as they should be?
Another Example: In Canada if you have a big 96 on your bill, all by it's self, usually in bottom right hand corner of your bill, it is considered an essential service. This is due to harsh weather conditions in Canada and or if you are poor and can't pay bills. Yet try to find the way to actually go pay it with your signature from government, whom are obligated to tell you. In last 50+ yrs we have not been able to get them to disclose the procedure.
The level of theft, fraud and extortion by government, corporations and super rich is utterly astounding.
Since they [super rich] have all the best guns there's only one Lawful way to get remedy, as mentioned in my previous comment below that starts with ... "Grrr ... U ppl still don't get it :("
BTW: the only reason the original law to man says not to kill is to protect the ruling class. Ruling class kills every day and all day long of anyone that stand up to them.
But, the original law also states that you have the Right to protect yourself and your family and community from any attacker, this also means kill them if they threaten your well being.
A mother has the top most Right in this respect as she's protecting her young.
So don't be fooled, learn your Rights from the most ancient of books and cultures ... Sumerian, Egyptian, Chinese, Mayan etc. That's the real Law, everything else is built under it.

I was going to respond the ways in which your response does not properly address my questions, but I cannot take your hyperboles seriously. Among other things, is impossible that public services be free, as at best they could be provided at cost. I suggest you refine your statements, as no one in your future is going to be willing to discuss serious issues with you when they are presented with a vague moral salad.
I asked a precise question; how are the ends of these protestors to be gained by the means they have chosen? Public transit is just that; public. The machines the protestors have vandalized generally feed money directly back into that public system, not only without direct profit to the rich, but often requiring additional outside funding. At best then, it seems these protestors are destroying a system that the rich have no vested interest in anyway, and are merely making things harder for the civilian population. Of all the ways to rebel against oppressive governments, this seems one of the worst.

OK, what u seem to fail to comprehend is there are 2 systems at work here.
1. Common Law system that's been around since beginning of man = all men are equal and enjoy the fruits of their labor, share in community living and advance through sharing of info
You have Full Rights, what u work for u keep, no taxes, no fees etc
2. Today's Business system = British/Roman Maritime Admiralty Law / Central Banks / UCC / stock market / UN / East India Co. / etc etc
And this is the problem of today
Government was created to protect the people from predatory business and corruption. Yet today it has become a second arm of the corporations and business.
Anyone looking at any services critically will tell you it is "the people" whom paid for everything, yet government has stolen these services and given them to private corporations. BIG problem. That's why people are shutting down tolls and giving services for free. There is NO damage being done to services as a whole .. zero, nil, nich nada
Central banks, IMF, World Bank etc have forced people in almost every country to become bankrupt via predatory business and loans ... stealing services, funds, labor, property, land, houses, medical services, and anything they can get their grubby hands on. Essentially making governments nul and void or to do their [business] bidding.
Your questions are loaded to point at damage .. so where is the damage and the proof for such?
With all due respect .. I suggest you go and learn these fundamental truths and see how the systems actually work.
