Time to assemble once more.
This kid’s got an attitude that you just can’t fix. Pepper spray. Truncheons. Gas. Confinement. Brutality. Nothing works. You tell him he can’t loiter and he pitches a tent. You tell him he can’t assemble and he brings his friends. You tell him to be quiet and he starts a mic check. You raise your baton in one hand and squeeze the trigger on the pepper spray canister in the other. You curse this kid’s existence because deep down you know you’ll have to go through it all again … and even worse, you think he might be right.
The discourse of our world is shifting. Today is the three-month anniversary of Occupy. It’s a time to reflect, to celebrate, to think about what has been achieved already and about what’s coming up next.
From pole to pole, from East to West, people are rising up! It started in Tunisia, it moved to Egypt, then to New York, and now there are rumblings in Russia and the Far East.
Let’s celebrate our successes and dream up new offensives. Out in the streets, in our homes, as we occupyxmas and as we hibernate for the winter, let’s take this day to revel in the birth and ongoing life of our movement. And as we brainstorm this winter, what do you see happening in the next stage? Share your thoughts, tactics, epiphanies, and revelations below … and no matter what … let’s come out swinging when the crocuses bloom next Spring.

Call for an Occupy Political Party:
An Occupy Political Party would allow it to challenge the Demopublicans. First each group must establish platform working groups. Realistically they would have to work for some time to write a platform and then share it around to get a worldwide platform agreed upon. I think a two-thirds vote would work. And it shouldn't seek ballot status until after its platform is ready and the world knows its intentions. Then getting the signatures would be easy, and money would come in based on the integrity of the platform and its authors and the solidarity of those voting for it. It should avoid attracting wannabe candidates until after the platform is written.
The platform would establish the first comprehensive worldwide left/liberal politcal platform not tinged by regional or nativist ideas. The platform would start by identifying 1.) physics, 2.) women, along with 3.) economics and ecology, as primary ideas of society thereby being the causes and the solutions of social problems. Physics, with physical mental and spiritual dimensions, would encompass our knowledge of Earth. Physics is logic. This would set the tone for understanding what women did, do, and need to do. Women with their men would be how society started and continues. Finally, ecology and Marxist economics would describe how we are fed. Ecology and Marxist economics depends on the proper function of people and they require a proper knowledge of Earth's physics with its physical mental and spiritual dimensions.
The platform first calls for United Nations police action to arrest all gangs mafias and paramilitary forces. Second is for the United Nations to assume control of all food resources. Third is to shift most of the USA's military budget to the United Nations and have our soldiers be redeployed in to domestic service. Fourth is for the USA to make reparations to Native Americans and descendants of slaves. If those four things could be comprehended, along with teaching a new feeding physics to replace Newton's force physics, along with teaching about the primacy of women, and also teaching about what capital is apart from ideas about capitalism communism socialism or any other ism, the new Occupy political party will have laid the ground work for a new worldwide poltical order. You might want to check out the newly minted Justice party, led by the former governor of Utah. The party was founded in response to Occupy, and the platform was created to support the popular opinions in the US that both parties are ignoring.

All economic systems are designed, in one way or another, such that people work as best they can and receive what they need to live a good life. In an ideal world, all economic systems do this. In Capitalism, people work in exchange for wages, which are then traded for goods and services. In Communism, people work, and the fruits of their labor are distributed by the government so everyone has what they need. But in the real world, economic systems never work this well. Under Capitalism, unemployment prevents people from working to their full ability. Not having wages, these people cannot put food on their tables. Additionally, because people are compelled to work in order to eat, people can be forced to work under unsafe conditions. Under Communism, people might not work because there is a less direct connection between work and reward. Additionally, the economy can become bogged down by bureaucracy and corruption.
I believe that in order to move the world in the right direction, we need to formulate an economic system that not only works in an ideal world, but also the real world. After this is devised, the Occupy movement should adopt it as an economic platform. Then we will be able to gain political legitimacy as a party.
