A Call for Reinforcements
Hey jammers,
#OCCUPYWALLSTREET is happening right now at Liberty Plaza!
It started last Saturday, when 5,000 Americans descended on to the financial district of Lower Manhattan, waved signs, unfurled banners, beat drums, chanted slogans and proceeded to walk towards the "financial Gomorrah" of the nation. They vowed to "occupy Wall Street" and to "bring justice to the bankers", but the New York police thwarted their efforts, locking down the symbolic street with barricades and checkpoints. Undeterred, protesters walked laps around the area before holding a people's assembly and setting up a semi-permanent protest encampment in a park on Liberty Street, a stone's throw from Wall Street and a block from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Three hundred spent the night, several hundred reinforcements arrived the next day and as we write this, the encampment is digging in for a long-term stay. #OCCUPYWALLSTREET has been established in Zuccotti Park, which has now been renamed Liberty Plaza. With Liberty Plaza liberated, and acting as a base in the financial district, the indignados have been sending out raiding parties to nearby Wall Street and beyond.
Bravo to those courageous souls in the encampment on New York's Liberty Street. Every night that #OCCUPYWALLSTREET continues will escalate the possibility of a full-fledged global uprising against business as usual.
Now, it is crucial for everyone from all over the world to flock to the encampment. Call in to work sick, invite your friends and hop on a bus or plane to New York City.
We need you at Liberty Plaza!
for the wild,

The more I think about Moody's, and Standard and Poor's and the other ratings agencies claiming that their ratings are their opinions only, and that therefore those ratings are protected by the 1st amendment, the angrier I get.
That completely distorts our Constitution to support the very kind of tyranny it was designed to prevent. They are using our right to do what we are doing in Liberty plaza to justify the fact that they lied to the American people. I mean, think about what they are saying…
They rated Bear Stearns and all the other failed financial companies at AA the day before they were bailed out. That was a lie. In reality they were maybe a junk bond, a D, the day before they filed for bankruptcy, and if the ratings agencies didn't know that, then the ratings agencies failed at their most important professional responsibility, perhaps even among the most important responsibilities of any organization in the world. It is absolutely a crime to say that these investments, which included millions of people's life savings and pensions, were completely safe the day before they went bankrupt. These ratings agencies have a moral responsibility to their fellow human beings to give them accurate information so that they may make sound economic decisions that will advance our society and our personal well-being. Financial ratings have to be based on truth and they must be factually represented to the people, not distorted in the interest of maximizing profits.
Someone should stand trial for treason for trying to stand behind the 1st Amendment while they lie to the hard working American people about the security of their savings and the health of their economy, only to later ask those same people for billions of dollars to bail them out.
Someone should stand trial.

I believe you are wise but still.
The word "reinforcements" implies a losing battle. Far too early. You could use "escalation" or "expansion".
Also, idyllic as it may sound, the possibility that people outside the States will flock to NY is close to nil. Your next strategic goal should be to increase the Americans doing the occupation to some tens of thousands.

obviously people in Europe will not fly to NYC but the wave is large and the next point is to reach all together the October 15th call.
That day has to be the day when people from worldwide take their rage and start occupying streets, squares and everything.
