Buy Canadian Tar Sands

Watch this petroleum industry funded ad that just debuted on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Buy Canadian Tar Sands

If your jaw is still gaping, it’s completely understandable. Propaganda at its most base level can do that. Take a moment … ask yourself, who are these people? Where are their offices? How much political favor has their crude cash purchased?

Over the holidays let’s put our heads together: how can we make the people who made this ad pay a price.

What would be a tactical response of equal spectacle?

Building a Reliable Knowledgebase and stay current with it?

I like the idea of us being able to walk/bike/rollerblade from building to building.
Whether it's through a simple sidewalk or outer "innertubes" on buildings
(Especially during the BBRR winter. Even if you didn't heat them, you could cut the wind out.)
Of course materials should be considered for costs of wear and tear.
So... you know construction jobs through that... Saves the people who use it money if they no longer need their car to get to point A or B all the time... maybe a few window washers. A Few people to tend to garden spaces.
It's something. No need to worry about missing the bus.
Lol, no need to worry about traffic tickets, unless of course you plow someone over on your bicycle.
If the tracks were elevated too no need for the interaction of cars and bikes at intersections
Might save some lives...
But it's just an "idea".
May even be a bit less litter because people treat indoor spaces differently than outdoor ones when it comes to trash right?
So there's janitorial/cleaning jobs.
Maybe even a few police/security monitoring jobs to keep people safe on the walking path.

Here is a repeat of history: we subsidized (we the people PAID for this) the cutting down of our old growth forests in Washington and Alaska. Shipped the forests to Japan where they bundled them up and put them under water for long term storage. Then Fukushima happened. Now those forests are coming back to us, completely destroyed, with radiation all over them. We paid for it - destroyed our land and forests, and are now going to eat the radioactive waste, literally.

The tar sands are no different. We are allowing the destruction of our Heaven on Earth for a handful of people to profit - who will die, leaving their wealth on the planet - they can't take it with them. But they will take the environment, and ecology, forever - ie Our birthright. Tar sands do not go away, nor the toxic tailing lakes they create. They steal from the animals who live in that place.

We need to organize in a way that has never happened before. We need to focus in a way that no one has ever seen.

The toxic thinking from TPTB is a mental illness that cannot be cured. It is deadly and violent - and will PROJECT it's sickness on to everyone in it's path - never taking responsibility for it's illness. Those embedded are so deeply ill, so totally and completely sick - violence back is not the way to go.

Instead, we must use Akido and Sun Zu's Art of War tactics. Do not aggressively extend. Rather, begin simply to change your life. Remove the cars. Remove the need for energy. Remove your connections to these toxic people. Nurture the things in your backyard. Grow your own food. Get solar. Walk to work - or stop working. Stop paying taxes. Drop out. Protect yourself. Run from them. Do not have children. Cooperate locally with those of like mind. Share material goods and services instead of buying into the BIG LIE that is the economy of a few. Stretch your mind. Be CREATIVE. Live and love life!

Trade War. Boycott Canada. Boycott the loonie

I know the Canadian youth. They are some of if not the most brilliant, loving, capable humans alive..yet they haven't the ego's to believe it themselves. If the tar sands are dug dry, it will but the world past the point of no ecological return, but if the youth of Canada forces it's governments and companies to be accountable, they can save the world.

Will Canada be the country that pushes the world over the edge? Or will it be the country every other country looks to for guidance?

and add to that the release of patents for so called "free energy" devices and concepts. Re-invent the automobile, the home electric grid, then the world. Get the world off fossil fuels by using your genius to create a better cleaner source of energy. If anyone can do it, it's the Canadians.

The world will may always want oil, but if you can make it cost more to remove and refine than it's worth, (boycott and re-invent) they may choose to leave it where it belongs.
