Buy Canadian Tar Sands
If your jaw is still gaping, it’s completely understandable. Propaganda at its most base level can do that. Take a moment … ask yourself, who are these people? Where are their offices? How much political favor has their crude cash purchased?
Over the holidays let’s put our heads together: how can we make the people who made this ad pay a price.
What would be a tactical response of equal spectacle?

Wow, where to begin? After 3/4s of a century of supporting a regime that does a whole bunch of nasty stuff to women the oil industry now wants us to think about how bad it is to support those nasty brown people so that we support the exploitation of the dirtiest resource on the planet. Ok, wait, removing cognitive dissonance filter. Ah. Better. Brain has exploded - http://theendisalwaysnear.blogspot.com/2011/08/keystone-xl-rube-goldberg-machine.html

Last year and all the years before, we have given Saudi Arabia weapons and money just to make sure, they give us their oil.
we didn't care about human rights and especially the rights of women didn't mean anything. we need stability instead of democracy!
now the countries in the middle east become unstable. and! we have the chance to get millions from the government for digging for oil sand just behind the border.
the good thing about: the processes around this oil-digging are higly undemocratic, too. so we don't need to change our behaviour and can send armed guards to the oil-grounds, to protect them from eco-communist-nazi-muslim-youkinowwhatImean-unpatriotic-protestors.
it's so great. we didn't care about women in egypt an saudi-arabia the last fivty years, billions of dollars without asking for democratic change over there.
but now, we use these women for our "ethnical oil" campaign - it won't help them - but us.
saving our money for the stock-market-investors, the banks, the billionaires.
killing the environment in front of our homes, not changing our huge energy-hunger and calling it "ethnical".

WOW! What a deconstructive and mean comment with not even an explanation to back it up.
Care to elaborate? Since you obviously want to be heard and get a point across and yet were extremely vague about giving it any real substance. Or am I just stupid?
