Buy Canadian Tar Sands
If your jaw is still gaping, it’s completely understandable. Propaganda at its most base level can do that. Take a moment … ask yourself, who are these people? Where are their offices? How much political favor has their crude cash purchased?
Over the holidays let’s put our heads together: how can we make the people who made this ad pay a price.
What would be a tactical response of equal spectacle?

I'm a little surprised at the outrage. The notion that you can affect the world by where you choose to spend your money is at the root of a great deal of social activism. All things being equal, I would rather my money go to Ottawa than to Riyadh.

your point omits the fact that we don't live on separate planets (although one might be forgiven forthinking so) and the mess that is being created in alberta, and it is a mess, will affect not just albertans or the economy, it will affect us all and will seep into other areas of our lives, the environment being the main problem.

We are a network of people living with and/or affected by experiences that are often diagnosed and labeled as psychiatric conditions. We believe these experiences are mad gifts needing cultivation and care, rather than diseases or disorders. By joining together as individuals and as a community, the intertwined threads of madness, creativity, and collaboration can inspire hope and transformation in an oppressive and damaged world. Participation in The Icarus Project helps us overcome alienation and tap into the true potential that lies between brilliance and madness.yacht transport

@union member who works in the oil sands, I don't know if the good living you seek includes raising children, but if you DO have children, you clearly don't care about them as much as I care about my three daughters. I'm pissed that you want to deprive them of the right to live a good life anywhere on this planet.
