Buy Canadian Tar Sands
If your jaw is still gaping, it’s completely understandable. Propaganda at its most base level can do that. Take a moment … ask yourself, who are these people? Where are their offices? How much political favor has their crude cash purchased?

ADBUSTERS: this is what you were made for. Keep it simple. Bust the ad buy untwisting the spin. The use of the word "Ethical" in regards to the effects of the tar sand oil pits, and thus the inherent evil in any marketing using that word in such a way, all hidden behind the attempted taking of the moral high ground! Pure BS. Words have value and companies should be accountable for false advertising. Fine them!

The lack of large, organized protest of the white house regarding the NDAA and indefinite detention is an early and serious embarrassment to OWS.
If not that, what?

I agree, bigger things at stake at the moment. Taking on the oil industry at this time would be the equivalent of invading Russia circa 1941. Getting pulled over for speeding and finding yourself in Bagram is a scary possibility.

Oil is oil. It doesn't matter if it comes from Canada, or Saudi Arabia. We just use too much of it, and it will run out.
