Anonymous Joins #OCCUPYWALLSTREET

Anonymous has just released a video communique endorsing #OCCUPYWALLSTREET. Using language from our first Tactical Briefing, the video calls on protesters to adopt the nonviolent Tahrir-acampadas model. On the 17th of September, it says, "flood into lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months … Once there, we shall incessantly repeat one simple demand in a plurality of voices."

Meanwhile S17 is surging ahead internationally. Simultaneous occupations of financial districts are now being planned in New York City, Madrid, Milan, London, Paris and San Francisco. With a bit of luck, this list of participating cities will expand.
If we can pull together just the right mix of nonviolence, tenacity and strategic smarts, S17 could be the beginning of the global revolution we've all been dreaming about for so long … wouldn't that be lovely.

What happened to all of those huge anti-war protests that went on in the Bush years after Obama got elected? They fucking disappeared! Apparently 2 wars under Bush can really turn people out but 6 wars under Obama isn't worth getting off the couch for. A lot of so called "progressive" and "activist left" organizations got pumped and dumped by Obama and they're too psychologically invested in that fuck and run to see him for what he is so you get people begging him to do shit he would never do, i.e. lessen the influence of corporate money in politics. By the way, your trendy little word salad is exactly the wankery I'm talking about.

I like to make a suggestion for the S17 protest - that 1/2 of the protesters camp out in front of the New York Federal Reserve. THAT's the other co-conspirator along with the Wall Street banksters. They've ALL gotta go.

The ONLY demand must be that ALL (privately-owned) central banks in all countries are shut down, all of their assets are confiscated and liquidated, those monies to become restitution to all countries and all individuals who lost their homes/pension funds, etc. and the central bank Directors, shareholders and all of their co-conspirators on Wall Street, in the City (London), etc. are JAILED, and the ability to print money is returned to the individual Treasury Depts. of each government with the caveat those currencies are to be backed by gold and silver. If all of that isn't the goal, then it's just pissing into the wind.

I like the sentiment of the previous poster but that's a rather complicated and longwinded demand- doesn't easily lend itself to chanting- One SIMPLE demand that would cover a lot of what the previous poster was talking about would be to demand a return of the Rule of Law. I'm thinking we can show up with some hangman's rope and giant posters with prominent banksters, Fed officials and their cohorts (Blankfein, Dimon, the Bernanke, Greenspan, Moynihan, Geithner, Obama, Paulson, etc.) on the bottom with "Wanted For Treason, Fraud, and Economic Terrorism" written on the top. The message should be that if the Rule of Law isn't restored by the government then the people will forcefully restore the Rule of Law on their own. You have to make them actually afraid of you if you want to get anything done.
