Laws are not in place for

by Solidarity on April 27 2009, @02:19 pm Laws are not in place for the betterment of society in its entirety, but rather to solidify the contemporary power structure and protect the powers that be. We as a people did not create these laws, so we are neither morally legally bound to these laws. Once people realize that only through solidarity can we bring about any significant change to our lives, only then will we be able to live freely. Petitioning does nothing but keep the power of the people limited to the confinements of a voting booth where our voice will never be as strong as when we start wielding our inherent power and using it ourselves instead of relying on our so-called representatives to give us what we need.

by ceser_angle on March 28 2009, @12:44 pm I really dislike when people say things like that. You, that are on this website should be more open-minded and aware that big words don't make you smart, its how you chose your words. I'm not the best communicator either but like this guy I'm not going to let that stop me. I admire poster boy for speaking out even if he isn't the most "intelligent" according to some.

‘People’ break laws that

by Alawabi Dingciti Zen on March 06 2009, @01:56 am 'People' break laws that physically kill our youth, drug dealers, rapists & murderers, thats what should make you sick. You above Mr anonymous commenter, tell us what to do and not do then tell us to think for ourself? Is he trying to make it less than it is? Petitions can go missing, can be manipulated, can fall into the wrong hands, are spun on etc..., How can we vote for what we want if it's not on the menu? Laws are in place for the good of society, do we all agree? It is down to everyone to make the world a better place. There should be a law that encourages people to smile more, but would it ever be brought in to force, a petition for smiles? Well just incase it never happens lets lighten up and smile for the likes of posterboy using a knife for all the reasons he does that cause NOT a drop of spilt blood or loss of a purse containing all the money that purse owner owned before it was snatched. Lets be concerned about the laws that cause pain/loss/death, not to mention the ones that go unreported for whatever reason, cases unsolved etc. It's nice to see the flip side, the anti-ad, it encourages people to use their brain, wake up, make a choice, he is standing in place to make up for the parent that left their child too long infront of the t.v. the parent that talked at the child instead of to the child, that could be one opinion. I mean what would you think if you found out that he was employed by these companies to do this? OR, employed by those in charge of the laws, above the laws?..., Signed by 'all the way' =}x{=

Breaking a law is breaking a

by Anonymous on March 01 2009, @04:05 am Breaking a law is breaking a law, regardless of the reason for doing it. Don't try to make it any less than it is. Laws are in place for the good of society; if you don't agree, petition. This makes me sick, and this "anarchy" bullshit is what's killing the brain cells of our youth. Don't listen to the idiot box. Don't listen to some stupid website like this, with it's bullshit agenda and political ass-grabbing. Do your brain a favor, and use it. Think for yourself.
