Ok, this is awesome! I feel so much more mentally productive. I have started to hate myself for doing "internet research" and then ending up ending the night on a youtube binge, where you go shopping for junk videos. These videos have some interesting topics. They are not ALL interesting to me, but they are mentally fascinating nonetheless.

We have to stop living in a dream world, and wake up to each other and the world from this consumeristic,technologically deterministic society.

Technology is only a tool. It's up to us to determine how we use it. If it's a substitute for filling up the lack of meaning in one's life, it will never be satisfying similar to living in the world of hunger; never feeling fulfilled and always wanting more and more. The US is about to receive a huge wake-up call to jolt us out of the world of materialistic delusion that things should make us happy.
