no one is suggesting that black bloc IS or ARE all police agents. Rather, it is being suggested the police are using dirty tactics to fight a war on behalf of big business.

For those who don't remember, a large group of all-black clad militants went around smashing up windows, starting fires & wreaking havoc & mayhem....especially upon small business owners. Several of these small business owners called the police as their shops were being destroyed...only to never have them arrive and help. Up to that point, the protest was very peaceful...after the rioting of these black-clad people, the police went crazy and began using extremist tactics to break up the protest.

I'm not so sure. Peaceful protest, as malcolm x sayd, he who asks to be made free shall never be. A bunch of people in a square chanting, is that accomplishing anything more than the black bloc'ers damaging corporate property (which is then rebuilt with insurance money)?
DOES a protest, violent OR non, accomplish anything other than maybe make a few people see that other people are also discontent?
